CO2 Emissions Disclosure

CFP (carbon footprint) is a mechanism to visualise the total amount of greenhouse gases released throughout the lifecycle of a product, from the procurement of raw materials through to disposal and recycling, expressed in terms of units of carbon dioxide.
CITIZEN L products received certification from the Sustainable Management Promotion Organization based on the calculation of the total amount of greenhouse gases released throughout the product lifecycle from the procurement of raw materials and production through to disposal and recycling expressed as CO2 equivalent.

*A band partly made of ceramic has almost the same CO2 emissions as a stainless steel band.
