ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

Formed in 1996, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION is a Japanese four-piece rock band known for their emotionally charged sound and incisive Japanese lyrics. After making their major-label debut in 2003, they launched NANO-MUGEN FES., a music festival that has grown in scale year by year. By inviting international artists such as Weezer and Manic Street Preachers, the festival has actively introduced a wide range of musical genres to audiences.

In 2025, the band revived NANO-MUGEN FES. after an eleven-year hiatus, hosting artists from across the globe, and later that year performed as the opening act for Oasis at Tokyo Dome. Marking their 30th anniversary in 2026, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION continue to influence the music scene with a powerful, generation-spanning presence.
