To wind the mainspring
manually

  • Check that the crown is fully
    pushed in.

  • 2

  • Grip the crown with your thumb
    and index finger and slowly
    turn the crown clockwise.

You can also turn the crown by rubbing the underside of it downwards with the ball of your finger.

You can fully wind the mainspring by turning the crown roughly 40 times (maximum duration).

Note that there is no risk of snapping the mainspring if you continue winding it after it is fully wound.
