Notification setting on the smartphone
To send notifications from the smartphone to the watch using the dedicated app "CITIZEN Bluetooth Watch", notification of third-party apps must be permitted on the settings of the phone.
Setting examples on the smartphone are shown below:
- Turning "Allow Notifications" on
- Turning "Show in Notification Center" on
- Changing the notification style to "Banners" or "Alerts"
- Choosing "Not optimized" in "Battery optimization"
About notification of mails
- The mail account whose notification is sent by activation of "Mail" on the dedicated app is the one set as default.
On some models of smartphones and in some versions of OSs, you must set the mail account from which you want to get notification to the default mail account. - The mail account whose notification is sent by activation of "Gmail" on the dedicated app is the one used on the Gmail official app.
About notification of the calendar
- The apps whose notification is sent by activation of "Calendar" on the dedicated app are "Calendar" of iOS and "Google Calendar" of Android.
