The award-winning CITIZEN ATTESA Eco-Drive Satellite Wave GPS models feature a seamless full-flow design that unifies the case and bracelet. The hairline finished octagonal ceramic bezel aligns precisely with the ridgeline of the case through CITIZEN’s advanced titanium processing technology, creating a silhouette that is sharp yet harmonious. Powered by CITIZEN’s Eco Drive technology, which generates energy from sunlight or even subtle indoor light, the watch eliminates the need for regular battery replacement and offers excellent sustainability.

This year’s award recognizes our efforts in the area of sustainability, one of the five key evaluation criteria. The light powered technology, Eco-Drive featured in the winning models was the first watch technology in Japan to receive Eco Mark certification in 1996. This year also marks the 50th anniversary since CITIZEN launched the world’s first analog light powered watch—the origin of today’s Eco-Drive. As a pioneer in light powered watchmaking, CITIZEN has continuously refined and advanced Eco-Drive over the decades.
