Citizen is launching a new limited-edition model from the Citizen ATTESA collection of watches equipped with the latest innovation, including completely new technology that gives the bracelet metal exceptional durability as well as distinctive design. This new model is inspired by the world of the legendary Star Wars™ series “The Mandalorian,” and specifically Beskar, a fictional metal alloy that appears in the series. The release coincides with the debut of the new movie Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu™ on May 22, 2026.

The two-tone case and bracelet feature Duratect Titanium Carbide※3 and Duratect DLC※4, Citizen’s proprietary surface hardening technologies, delivering a rugged, striking finish. The bracelet’s center link is crafted using a new surface-hardening laser process, creating Beskar-inspired stripes while enhancing durability beyond existing black-tone Super Titanium™ models.

The dial echoes this motif with layered inkjet printing for added depth and dimension. A laser-engraved Mythosaur skull on the crown and a case back featuring the Mandalorian’s helmet complete the design, paying tribute to the saga’s iconic symbols.

Inspired by Beskar and renowned for its strength and cultural significance, the dial and bracelet reflect Mandalorian heritage and resilience. Limited to 1,400 pieces worldwide, each timepiece includes an engraved case back, special packaging, and a commemorative limited-edition card, making it a must-have collectible for Star Wars™ fans.

• ※1 Eco-Drive is CITIZEN’s proprietary technology that powers watches using any natural or artificial light source, eliminating the need to replace batteries. Certified as an Eco Mark product for the first time in the watch industry. Radio-controlled watches receive signals from radio transmitters to correct the time and calendar automatically.
• ※2 Super Titanium™ is CITIZEN’s proprietary technology to treat solid titanium with surface hardening technology. It is at least 5 times harder than stainless steel, resistant to scratches, lightweight and gentle to the skin for comfortable wearing.
• ※3 Duratect is CITIZEN’s proprietary surface hardening technology that enhances the surface hardness of metals such as stainless steel and titanium, protecting watch bodies from scratches and damage. This technology offers excellent abrasion quality and maintains the luster of metals for long periods of time. Duratect Titanium Carbide has a silver color similar to pure titanium. Titanium carbide technology is commonly used for a range of applications, and CITIZEN’s Duratect Titanium Carbide produces Vickers hardness between 1,000 and 1,200 HV (Vickers hardness of stainless steel is approx. 200 HV).
• ※4 Duratect DLC achieves Vickers hardness of 1,000-1,400 by creating an amorphous carbon hard film—mainly composed of carbon and hydrogen—on the surface of the material.
