Drawing on the heritage of 1973's Chronograph Challenge Timer, CITIZEN's first-ever authentic chronograph, this model combines an understated deep-green dial (inspired by 1970s classic cars), a brown band (evoking the upholstery and veneers of car interiors), a multi-layer structure (reminiscent of dashboard instrumentation) and a beautifully curved dome glass. The result? A unique design that's simultaneously retro and advanced.

Eco-Drive Caliber E210 was developed specifically to create quartz watches with functionality surpassing any mechanical chronograph. Due to the flyback system, which enables the hands to be reset to zero and restarted instantly, the movement has more parts than normal. This complex structure is meticulously hand assembled, one component at a time.

The 200m water resistance is up to whatever challenges everyday life or serious outdoor activities can throw its way. In addition, you get all the practical functions required for racing—a 1/5-second chronograph, a 60-minute totaliser, a tachymeter and a super legible power reserve display. Enormous care was taken to give the buttons just the right click-feel. Operating this watch is profoundly pleasurable.

The alarm function has its own dedicated crown and alarm hand. Because the alarm hand can be rotated in either direction, setting and then checking the alarm is intuitive and simple. It makes for a function you can incorporate into your lifestyle any way you want.
