Pairing (registering) of a smartphone
Registering a smartphone
- For registration, you have to operate both the watch and the smartphone.
- Be sure that the watch and the smartphone are charged enough.
Especially, check the power reserve of the watch and charge it before registration if the power reserve level is "1" or "0". - Registration on the watch must be completed within a certain period of time. If about 30 seconds have passed before finishing the registration, the watch returns to normal movement.
- Download the dedicated app "CITIZEN Bluetooth Watch" at an app site and install it.
- Start the dedicated app.
- Pull the crown out to position 1.
- Rotate the crown to change the mode to [TME] or [L-TM].
- Push the crown in to position 0.
- Press and release the upper right button B.
- Choose "Pair" when the dialog appears to request your permission to make Bluetooth connection on the screen of the app.

Operation of the watch
The second hand points to 30 seconds and stops.
The second hand points "ACT" (40-second position) and registration starts.

The smartphone is connected when it has already been registered.
Operation on the smartphone
"Connected" (connected) appears as registration is finished.

It may take about 20 - 30 seconds to finish registration.
The watch and the smartphone are connected as registration is finished.
When registration was successfully finished
The function hand of the watch points "ON" of connection status and the second hand returns to normal movement.
In the cases below, registration is not finished.
- "Connected" is not displayed on the screen of the app.
- The second hand of the watch points "LL" (45-second position).
- The second hand of the watch points "ACT" (40-second position) and returns to normal movement but the function hand does not point "ON" of connection status.
